The Beast Wars are over, and just when the Maximals thought they were in the home stretch... Megatron escapes, plunging out of the Time stream as they return to Cybertron. When they arrive, they find a planet devoid of inhabitants. One that is controlled by the evil Megatron. It plots the struggle between Evil Canadians and Heroic Ameri... I mean Evil Vehicons and Heroic Maximals, as the fight between good and evil changes -- into the battle between Technological Purity and Techno-organic balance. Beast Machines is described by story editor Bob Skir as a "Novel for Television". It is the current Transformers television series that airs on Fox Kids, and Canada's Y-TV.
