Jackson, Jack
American cartoonist (b. 1941) also known as Jaxon. His strip "God Nose" is often credited as the beginning of the "underground comics" era. Jaxon's short stories are a mix of satire, horror-fantasy and historical fiction; his later, longer works have focused on the violent history of his home state of Texas.
