Hooters, The

Philadelphia band active in the mid to late 1980s. The band had several hit singles in 1995, including "And She Danced" and "Day by Day." The band was known for the use of the Melodica, an wind intrument with a keyboard often considered a toy. The band's songwriting team of Eric Bazilion and Rob Hyman have also written hits for Joan Osborne and Cyndi Lauper.
