Clarke, Jeremiah C Composers CompositionClarke, JeremiahEnglish Baroque composer Jeremiah Clarke (c. 1674-1707) was a chorister of the British Chapel Royal. He wrote sacred and secular music for a variety of instruments and also composed a number of songs. His best known work, the Prince of Denmark's March, became a staple among wedding musicians and was wrongly attributed to Henry Purcell for many years.
