Petrus de Cruce P Composers Composition


Medieval composer Petrus de Cruce (Pierre de la Croix) is one of the few early composers whose works can be attributed with some degee of certainty. The "Petronian Motet" is named for him. His birth and death dates are uncertain but he was active between 1270 and 1300.
