Praetorius, Hieronymus P Composers Composition

German Renaissance organist and composer Hieronymus Praetorius (1560-1629) composed mainly church music, most notable motets. Some of these had as many as twenty parts. His father and son, both named Jacob, also gained some degree of fame. None was related to Michael Praetorius.
