Euphonium Tuba, Euphonium and Baritone Horn Brass Winds Instruments

Euphonium Tuba, Euphonium and Baritone Horn Brass Winds Instruments

Euphonium
The Euphonium is a low brass instrument which looks a great deal like a small tuba (and indeed can be described as a tenor tuba), playing in the same range as the Trombone, one octave above Tuba and one below Cornet. It is, perhaps, the primary tenor solo voice on the Concert and Military Band, and has a dark, mellow sound unlike any other instrument. Euphoniums are often confused with the Baritone Horn, but the two are different, and there are several articles available that touch the rather controversial subject of just how they are different.

  • - Extensive directory of Euphonium sheet music.
  • - Rather large collection of stories and jokes pertaining to Euphoniums (or just musical instruments in general). Plenty of humor, but little information is available.
