Davis, Miles D Bands and Artists Jazz Styles
Davis, Miles
Jazz musician Miles Davis spanned six decades of jazz music and American culture. He began playing bebop with Charlie Parker in the 1940s and forged his own highly individualistic style until his death in 1991.
Often compared to artist Pablo Picasso, Davis exhibited a similar ego, ambition, scope, and audacity, moving boldly forward with a quenchless thirst for change, reinvention, and renewal.
