Lineage II is a separate, 3D world based on the background fiction and gameplay of the original Lineage game. Lineage II takes place 150 years before Lineage, during a time when the world was in much more turmoil. The concepts of city states and feudal systems have just begun to take hold in Aden and the world is very different from the one in which gamers play today.
