Nox was a unique and fresh attempt of Westwood Studios to excel Diablo's success. While being a good game with both a challenging single player campaign and fast and furios multiplayer battles, Nox fell behind and is mostly forgotten today. The player is cast in the shoes of Jack, a very normal American guy. Jack becomes the victim of a magic storm, created by the dark witch Hecubah to retrieve a powerful artifact from his van. He finds himself at the world of Nox trying to defend his new home, which is under attack by Hecubah.
