Learning Disabilities Conditions and Diseases Health
Learning Disabilities (LD) are believed to be caused by differences in the way the brain processes information. Children with LD may have problems with reading [dyslexia], writing [dysgraphia], or math [dyscalculia]. They may have trouble following verbal or written instructions, or translating thoughts to words. People with LD are not "dumb" or "lazy." In fact, many have above-average intelligence. They simply process information differently.
