Early 80s show concerning 4 fairly unpleasant students sharing an equally unpleasant house. A product of the alternative comedy movement, the programme actively sought to challenge the conventions of the sitcom genre. Written by Ben Elton, Rik Mayall and Lise Mayer. Starring Rick Mayall, Adiran Edmondson, Nigel Planer and Christopher Ryan. First broadcast on BBC2 in November 1982.
