"A Touch of Frost" is an ITV crime drama series starring David Jason as Detective Inspector William "Jack" Frost, and Bruce Alexander as Superintendent Norman Mullett. It is based on the novels by R.D. Wingfield, in which Frost is an archetypal copper: he is scruffy, unorthodox and a despiser of paperwork; yet he is also warm, passionate and, most importantly, humane.
