Thatcher, Margaret Hilda Prime Ministers Parliament History Society and Culture United Kingdom
Margaret Hilda Thatcher (nee Roberts), born in 1925, was the first woman to serve as prime minister of Great Britain, and its longest serving prime minister. Thatcher retired from politics in 1992. She is now Baroness Thatcher of Kesteven.
