Rt Hon Ann Widdecombe MP was born in 1947 and now serves as the parliamentary representative for Maidstone and The Weald. Past responsibilities have included Shadow Health Secretary (1998-1999) and Shadow Home Secretary (1999-2001) under the opposition Conservative government lead by William Hague MP.
