Voroklini Larnaca District Cyprus
Voroklini is a rural village 8km to the north-east of the centre of Larnaca on the south-eastern Cyprus coast. It is about 50m above sea level at the foot of an oblong hill (208m high). The monastery of Agios Georgios tou Mavrovouniou (St. George of the Black Hill) lies to the north. To the west is Livadia (1.5km), to the north-west is Troulloi and to the north-east is Pyla (3km). Voroklini has evolved substantially over the past few years. The population of the village has nearly trebbled in the past two decades with many overseas visitors making Voroklini their permanent home.
