Clinton

Clinton County was formed in 1836. It is located in the Lake Cumberland region of the state. The elevation in the county ranges from 530 to 1780 feet above sea level. In 2000 the county population was 9,634 in a land area of 197.46 square miles. The county seat is Albany.
