Evangelical United Brethren
The Evangelical United Brethren Church (EUB) was formed in 1946 by the merger of The Church of the United Brethren in Christ and the Evangelical Church. In 1968, the EUB in the US merged with the Methodist Church to form the United Methodist Church (US). The Canadian EUB merged with the United Church of Canada that same year. EUB congregations that chose not to participate in the 1968 mergers reformed as the Evangelical Church. In 1993, the Evangelical Church in Canada and the Missionary Church of Canada merged to form the Evangelical Missionary Church of Canada.
