Which O/S Is Your Virtual Server Running?
Your Virtual Server is running one of the following versions of the UNIX
operating system (O/S).
If your Virtual Server was ordered after November 22, 1999, you are
likely running FreeBSD UNIX or Solaris UNIX.
uname
To find out which O/S your Virtual Server is running, connect to it
via Telnet or SSH and run the
uname command.
% uname
Upgrade Today!
If your Virtual Server is still running BSD UNIX, you should seriously consider
upgrading to a FreeBSD Virtual Server.
