"I write love stories that are peripherally about baseball." - W.P. Kinsella William Patrick Kinsella is an Edmonton-born novelist and short story writer. He is best known for his book, Shoeless Joe, which was made into the movie, Field of Dreams. His other works include Dance Me Outside (made into a movie of the same name), If Wishes Were Horses, and Red Wolf, Red Wolf.
