Set in 1920's China, the movie tells the story of three young women and two young men who are thrown together during a chaotic time. Produced in Hong Kong and directed by Tsui Hark. Starring Brigitte Lin, Sally Yeh, and Cherie Chung. Released in 1986, also known as Dao ma dan (Mandarin title) and Knife Horse Dawn (literal English title).
