Booker T. and the MGs Bands and Artists Music
Soul band known both for instrumental hits (such as "Green Onions") and for providing backup on most of the classic recordings on the Stax/Volt label. Classic lineup was Booker T. Jones (organ), Steve Cropper (guitar), Donald "Duck" Dunn (bass) and Al Jackson Jr. (drums).
