Butterworth, George Sainton Kaye Composers Composition Music
English composer George Sainton Kaye Butterworth (1885-1916) collected folksongs with Vaughn Williams and is remembered for his orchestral, solo voice, and choral music. He died at Pozières, France during the Battle of the Somme.
