Finney, Ross Lee Composers Composition Music
(1906-1997) He studied with Nadia Boulanger and Alban Berg in Europe and with Roger Sessions in the USA. He had both Guggenheim and Pulitzer fellowships as well as many commissions. He taught at the University of Michigan and his students included William Albright, George Crumb, and Roger Reynolds.
