Grappelli, Stephane Violinists, Violists and Cellists Bands and Artists Jazz
French jazz violinist (1908-1997), was the pioneer of jazz violin. He formed the Hot Club of France quintet in the 1930s with guitarist guitarist Django Rheinhart, and continued to perform until he was in his 80s.
