James Gandolfini (*1961 in Westwood, NJ) is a talented actor and TV star. He started his career in 1992 with a movie "A Stranger Among Us". He has appeared in movies like "Get Shorty" (1995), "Grimson Tide" (1995), "The Juror" (1996), and "She's So Lovely" (1997). He is best known as Anthony 'Tony' Soprano, Sr. from TV Series "Sopranos" (since 1999). His other famous roles include Eddie Poole in 8MM (1999), Winston Baldry in "The Mexican" (2001), and Big Dave in "The Man Who Wasn't There" (2001). He has won several awards, including two Emmies and a Golden Globe award.
