Nostromo Mini-Series Programs Television
1996 mini-series set in the imaginary republic of Costaguana where Englishman Charles Gould arrives with his wife to take over the family's closed silver mine. Nostromo is the leader of the local dockworkers and is charged with saving the mine when civil war engulfs the country. Based on the novel by Joseph Conrad and starring Colin Firth as Charles Gould, Serena Scott Thomas as Emilia Gould, and Claudio Amendola as Nostromo.
