Pad Printing Processes Printing Publishing and Printing

Pad Printing, also called transfer pad printing, is an indirect offset gravure process characterized by a silicone rubber transfer pad that transfers the image from a printing plate on which the image is etched below the surface of the plate. It is commonly used to print 3D objects with irregular surfaces, such as golf balls. Sites placed in this category should deal primarily with this printing process. This includes sites of trade associations, companies selling equipment and supplies, companies specializing in using pad printing to do contract work for other manufacturers and any site providing resources about the process. In contrast, the sites of printing companies that use this process are not listed here; instead, each printing company is listed in a category based on the type of product it produces.
