Medical technologists perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological laboratory tests on body fluids and cells. Medical technologists are also referred to as clinical laboratory technologists, clinical laboratory technicians, clinical laboratory scientists, medical technicians, biomedical technicians, and medical laboratory technicians.
