The Lyme Academy of Fine Arts was founded in 1976 by the sculptor Elizabeth Gordon Chandler. It offers BFA and Certificate programs in the fine arts.Located in the town of Old Lyme, Connecticut which has been an artistic mecca since the turn of the century, when it first attracted American Impressionist painters.
