Organizations School Safety K through 12 Education

The National Resource Center for Safe Schools works with schools, communities, state and local education agencies, to create safe learning environments and prevent school violence.

• Center for the Prevention of School Violence - Examines the seriousness of school violence, offers prevention and safe k through 12 school planning programs, forum for School Resource Officers, and other k through 12 subjects related to the problem of school violence.
• National Coalition for School Bus Safety - Examines issues of school bus safety by tracking school safety legislative initiatives, accidents, parents and crash reports.
• Mendez Foundation - A substance abuse and violence prevention organization that k through 12 k through 12 focuses on alcohol, tobacco and drug prevention education k through 12 k through 12 among children and teenagers, as well as teaching k through 12 k through 12 balanced, positive, healthy living.
• Safety Zone - The National Resource Center for Safe Schools works k through 12 k through 12 with schools, communities, state and local education agencies, k through 12 k through 12 to create safe learning environments and prevent school k through 12 k through 12 violence.
• Keep Schools Safe the School Safety and Security Resource - Provides school safety and violence prevention information for students, parents, and school administrators. Covers topics from bullying, peer pressure, and underage drinking to the physical security of school buildings.
• National School Safety Center - Nonprofit organization providing resources for school safety information, school safety training organizations and violence prevention.
• Security on Campus - For the prevention of college and university campus school safety violence organizations and other crimes. Site covers campus crime school safety statistics, laws, organizations court decisions, crime prevention tips, campus school safety police and journalists.
