The winner of the Wales in Bloom competition for 2003!This category is for sites within the ancient parish of St Dogwells, in the hundred of Dewisland.  The category is named after the motte and bailey castle, which is surrounded by buildings forming the largest village at the northern and uppermost part of the parish.  The category includes the rural area to the east of the castle known as St Dogwells, and south, down the gorge to the village and parish at Treffgarne, in Roose Hundred.
