Albany Localities California United States
Albany is a city of 18,000 located in the northwest corner of Alameda County. Berkeley lies to the south and east, El Cerrito to the north, and the San Francisco Bay to the west. The city was incorporated in 1908 to prevent Berkeley from dumping its garbage there.
