San Francisco Bay Area Metro Areas California United States
The metropolitan San Francisco Bay Area consists of four sub areas: East Bay, North Bay, South Bay and San Francisco. These four sub areas cover nine counties. The East Bay consists of Alameda, Contra Costa and Solano Counties. The North Bay consists of Marin, Napa and Sonoma Counties. The South Bay consists of San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. San Francisco is itself a County.
