County Central Committees Democratic Parties Politics

The California Election Code provides county-based organizations with many rights and responsibilities for local partisan political organizing. Every county has one County Central Committee, whose members are elected during the Primary in each even-numbered year, to conduct the official duties of the Party at the county level. Although voting participation at meetings is therefore more restricted than other Democratic organizations, the local web portals are usually the official and authoritative source for local Democratic information.
