Dyess AFB Installations Air Force Military
Dyess Air Force Base is a 6000+ acre base with over 13,000 military and civilian people. Home to the 7th Bomb Wing. Located near Abilene, Texas. Dyess AFB was named for Lt. Col. William E. Dyess, a WWII fighter pilot killed in a crash December 1943.
