Francis E. Warren AFB Installations Air Force Military
Francis E. Warren Air Force Base was opened in 1867, located 3 miles West of Cheyenne, Wyoming. The base was originally used as a cavalry post for the US Army, and was named for Francis Emory Warren who was a Wyoming senator and Wyoming's first state governor.
