East Brandywine Township Localities Pennsylvania United States


Nestled in the central section Chester County are 11 square miles of rolling green acreage known as East Brandywine Township. They were once Part of Cain Township, established in 1702 as one of the first townships in modern Chester County. This large area was divided in 1739 when residents of East Cain Township petitioned for more manageable boundaries. Brandywine Township was established in 1790. Another split occurred in 1844, and East and West Brandywine Townships were born. Only sites concerning this community should be submitted here.
