Mission is to provide environmental education about the unique South Texas ecosystem to the Valley community. Information about hours, programs and exhibits, and ways to get involved.

• Agricultural Research and Extension Center - Unit of Texas A&M. Information on faculty and weslaco staff, publications, science and environment employment and upcoming events. Programs include weslaco Orchid Society, Master Gardeners, science and environment South Texas Produce Initiative, weslaco and sugar cane, citrus, and vegetable science and environment entomology.
• Valley Nature Center - Mission is to provide environmental education about the unique South Texas ecosystem to the Valley community. Information about hours, programs and exhibits, and ways to get involved.
• Kika De La Garza Subtropical Agricultural Research Center - Unit of USDA. Announcements of new publications, information science and environment on administration and staff for beneficial insects, crop science and environment quality and fruit insect, and integrated farming and science and environment natural resources units.
