Bryde's Whale Balaenopteridae Mysticeti Cetacea
Balaenoptera edeni. Bryde's is pronounced "bree-dahs" after the name of the Norwegian man, Johan Bryde, who, in 1912, financed the first scientific investigation of whales in South African waters.
