Shepherd of Hermas Apostolic Fathers Early Christian Writings Church History
This very early Christian document describes a series of allegorical visions. The author cannot be identified with any certainty, but in places it was ascribed to the companion of Paul (without particular warrant -- the name was not rare, personal information is lacking for both persons) and given canonical authority.
