2010

Released in 1984, and directed by Peter Hyams, 2010 is a sequel to Stanley Kubrick's classic film, 2001. It stars Roy Scheider and John Lithgow as astronauts taking part in a joint American/Soviet space mission investigating the events that occurred in 2001. It is based on a novel by Arthur C. Clarke.
