Cassidy, Eva

Eva Cassidy (1963-1996) was a local performer in the Washington, DC area and released 2 CD's locally. The first was a duet with Washington's famous Chuck Brown and the second was a self-financed live recording entitled 'Live at Blues Alley'. 'Fields of Gold' was used by the skater Michelle Kwan in the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, thus introducing her music to a huge new audience.
