Gray, Henry

Henry Gray, born in Kenner, Louisiana in 1925, began playing piano at the age of eight. Since the age of 16, he has played with several bands, including Howlin' Wolf's from 1956-1968, and numerous musicians, playing at many international festivals. Recent accolades include a Grammy nomination, performing at Mick Jagger's 55th birthday party, and Living Blues Magazine's 2002 Critic Choice Award for Best Blues Pianist.
