Ink Spots, The Bands and Artists Music
The group, formed in 1938 by Bill Kenny, Charlie Fuqua, Deek Watson, and Hoppy Jones, were pioneers in the Black vocal-group harmony genre, a precursor to doo-wop. They were often on the pop charts from 1939 through 1951.
