Finney, Ross Lee

(1906-1997) He studied with Nadia Boulanger and Alban Berg in Europe and with Roger Sessions in the USA. He had both Guggenheim and Pulitzer fellowships as well as many commissions. He tauught at the University of Michigan and his students included William Albright, George Crumb, and Roger Reynolds.
