Raff, Joseph Joachim
Romantic composer Joachim Raff (1822-1900) was born in Zurich, Switzerland but lived and worked most of his life in Germany. He wrote a variety of instrumental and vocal music, but his fame declined and only his Cavatina is widely remembered.
