Tovey, Donald Francis, Sir T Composers Composition
Donald Francis Tovey (1875-1940) was pianist, composer, music theorist, and critic. Because of his skill and passion at the latter two, the composer aspect is often forgotten. Tovey wrote for orchestra, chamber group, piano, chorus, solo singer, and for the opera.
