Mixed Choirs Performing Groups Choral StylesMixed ChoirsMixed choirs are SATB choirs (divided into Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass). The general Mixed Choirs category is meant primarilly for classical Symphonic or Oratorio choirs of 30-40 singers or more. Smaller choirs, performing mainly chamber music, belong to the Chamber Choir category. Special categories exist for mixed choirs singing gospel or a cappella music.
