Disco Dance D Styles
Disco music is the funky, pulsating music of the 70s and early 80s (also the precursor to such dance styles as house, techno, and jungle). Disco brought the disc jockey to the forefront of nightclubs and discotheques, and the genre also brought on the first extended singles for a longer dancing experience. Characterized by a cymbal hi-hats and a non-stop 4/4 drum beat, disco was simply programmed for its listeners to "get down and boogie!"
